Starting today, FarmVille has started rolling out the FarmVille Spring Basket collection event! At this point not all farmers have access, but don’t worry you soon will.


Spring is in the air and FarmVille is celebrating! If you’ve been collecting Spring Flowers from your Spring Garden or from your FarmVille neighbors in preparation for the Spring Basket, you can finally put them to good use other than taking up room in your FarmVille Gift Box. This collection event works similar to other FarmVille collection events such as the St. Patrick’s Day Wishing Well. You will be able to collect Flowers and redeem them for special exclusive prizes that you cannot get anywhere else! Read more below for all the details on how the Spring Basket works.

Every farmer will get their Spring Basket for free when you visit your farm for the first time after the update is available to you. You can choose to place your Spring Basket immediately or wait to a later time. If you choose later, your Spring Basket will go directly to your FarmVille Gift Box for you to use another time.

After placing the Spring Basket on your farm you will be able to view your progress and the redemption prizes by clicking on the “Look Inside” button.

There are several ways for you to obtain Flowers for your Spring Basket. Any Flower that you collect will be stored into your FarmVille Gift Box until you use it.


Obtain Flowers by:


1. Harvesting your Spring Garden.
2. Harvesting a neighbor’s Spring Garden.
3. Collecting Flowers from Facebook News Feed share.
4. Requesting Flowers from your neighbors directly using the “Ask for More” button.
5. Receiving Flowers as free gifts from the FarmVille Gifting page.
6. Purchasing directly with Farm Cash (5 Flowers for 5 Farm Cash)


There are five different types of Flowers for you to collect. However, each flower will count as the same amount and there is no difference other than their physical appearance.

As you collect flowers the appearance of your Spring Basket will change becoming more grand and beautiful with each new stage’s completion. You can monitor your own progress and your comparison to your FarmVille friends regarding how many Flowers you have collected.


Spring Basket Redeemable Prizes


After you have collected enough required Flowers, simply click the green “Redeem” button located underneath the prize to get your very own exclusive prize.


When you redeem a prize, it will go directly to your FarmVille Gift Box. As an extra bonus you will be given the opportunity to share the same prize with a friend by posting a Facebook News Feed share.

Sadly, what you see is what you get! FarmVille has already announced that there will be no second page of redeemable gifts coming. The gifts featured on the first page are the only redeemable gifts for the Spring Basket.
