FarmVille Pigpen Upgrade Arrives: Level up And Unlock New Patterns; Just as we showed and basically predicted to do letter on May 25th, Pig Patterns and Levels are arriving to players slowly! You can start Leveling your Pigs and unlocking new patters. These can of course be skipped for Farm Cash but it is EXTREMELY pricey.

It appears that each “Breed” executes 1 point in 1 level. It also appears breeders and adopters get 3 Points EACH for putting up for adoption and adopting. So if you are looking to get that first pattern, you need to muscle up enough love potions and bottles to breed and grow 5 pigs or ask some friends for piggies!

* Earn Pig Breeding Points by succesfully breeding a Piglet
* Get bonus Points when a friend adopts your Piglet
* Level up as a Pig Breeder to Unlock New Pig Patterns!
* Each time you succesfully breed a Piglet, you'll earn Love Potions.

FarmVille and Zynga will be releasing a new feature in the near future that will allow you to breed your pigs to earn different patterns! From what we can tell so fa just from images and assets, is that each level your pig or pigs receives will count towards new patterns. You may remember when we broke the news about the UNRELEASED Pig Patterns back on May 17th of this year. We bet that you can sink a ton of Farm Cash into “Finish Now” or “Level Now” type options but for right now, this is all just speculation. Here is some eye candy for you :)

“Illegal” Pigs Surface!

Well it has happened and I may add rather quickly, there are now (Zyngas Terms Not Mine) “Illegal Pigs” surfacing across Facebook. Well, Zynga had claimed in this statement, that “The methods by which it was possible to attain these sheep have been stopped“. I call bologna, It was only about 20 minutes after Pig Breeding began rolling out that I saw the first crazy looking Pig.

They just don’t look right! For right now the only apparent patterns are solid, strip and dots. Flashing, Electric or any other crazy looking ones are not “Properly” in the game. And if people keep messing with them, we may see yet another FarmVille Lockout like what happened with the Sheep Breeding just a few days ago.
