FarmVille Bug Report: Rollback issue under investigation as players lose levels

Hey Guys, Be The First To This With Your Friends

Late last week, players on the officlal FarmVille forums started reporting that they had lost progress on their farms. After experiencing a refresh or out of sync notice, players would finally reach their farms only to see that they've experiences a serious rollback - grown Lambs are missing, Mystery Seedlings hadn't been grown, old crops are on their land (and withered), animals haven't been fed, coins have gone missing, and even levels have disappeared from users' experience point totals.

Thankfully, the FarmVille team at Zynga has officially acknowledged the issue, and have flagged it as "Known." While the issue is currently still "Under Investigation" - Zynga's code for "We're working on it" - they have encouraged players that have suffered any amount of rollback, no matter how minor, to contact Zynga Customer Support, so that you may be reverted to your proper and original state. Hopefully, the FarmVille team will learn from this issue, and we won't have to worry about it happening again.

English Bred Lambs Locked To English Farms?

Hey Guys, Be The First To This With Your Friends

Since the latest enhance to FarmVille, Lambs that were bred in the English Countryside are now “Locked” to our EC Farms. There was a nifty little trick that allowed farmers to breed in England and then use the X on top of the window to place the baby lamb in their Gift Box. Doing so would allow the farmer to travel to their home farm and place it there for more breeding options later on. This has since been changed either on accident or on purpose.

What do you think of the Lamb Lockout? Bug or Intentional?

FarmVille Increases Level Cap on Free Farm Cash Reward!

Hey Guys, Be The First To This With Your Friends

Yesterday, FarmVille finally allowed players above Level 100 to level up to their true level.

Even more good news, the Farm Cash Rewards cap that rewards players with 1 Free Farm Cash at each new level, has also increased to Level 250! Previously players did not receive anymore free Farm Cash after achieving Level 100. And it just keeps getting better- players above 100 will receive all the accumulated free Farm Cash that they would have received for leveling up at each level. For example, if you are level 150, then you will find that 50 Free Farm Cash (1 Farm Cash per Level) has been added to your Farm Cash bank!

Note, this feature may be slowly rolling out, so hold tight and wait for the Farm Cash to flow.

From the official FarmVille Blog:

“The Level Cap on Farm Cash Rewards Raised
Note: We are rolling out this change today so please be patient if you don’t have it just yet. You will soon!

Today we’ve started the process of raising the level cap on the Farm Cash reward, which is normally given to you as you go up in level from Level 1 to Level 100. We’re now extending this to Level 250; those of you that have gone up above Level 100 already will have this Farm Cash retroactively added to your account.

Thank you everyone for playing, and we hope enjoy the addition of Farm Cash that can become available to you!”

Feed Reward Throttle Removed!

Hey Guys, Be The First To This With Your Friends

FarmVille and Zynga have made a new Producers Letter in the Official FarmVille Forums showing some of the latest changes to FarmVille. Of those included are the Farm Switching and Pausing, Bug Fix Output and Memory Issues, Japan Relief and FarmVille coming out of Beta-ish. The biggest announcement however is the remove of the Feed Reward Throttle!

Feed Reward Throttling: After extensive research and experimentation, we have decided to repeal the throttling of rewards collected through feeds. We want to thank you all for being so vocal throughout the process as it really helped us to pinpoint problem areas and react accordingly. For now, the throttling has been removed and we are enforcing a cap on the amount of rewards each player can claim per day. We are continuing to explore alternative means of keeping the FarmVille playing field even for all.
